If you exceed this threshold no worries, affordable monthly or yearly plans are available for you.

How much is 1,000 page views/month?

That’s probably enough for most small websites! If your website is visited by less than 50 visitors per day, it will most likely not exceed 1,000 pageviews/month.

Is there an external service used by FastPixel plugin?

Our plugin integrates with an external service via dedicated API endpoints. This process involves sending a request with specific data to the server API endpoint, which then queues and processes the request to generate HTML content. Once your request reaches the front of the queue, the service processes the data, generates the HTML content based on the specified URL, and then sends the HTML back to the plugin using the provided postback URL. The plugin automatically receives the generated HTML content and saves it to the disk on your WordPress installation. This process is designed to be seamless and requires no manual intervention.

Also there are two enpoints on external service:
https://api.fastpixel.io/api/v1/purge_all – this endpoint is used to request pages cache. Url is put into queue and once your request reaches the front of the queue, service processes request. Service request page and parse it to get list of links to other pages. Pages from this list are requested too. New html pages will be prepared and send back to wordpress installation for all pages from the list.

https://api.fastpixel.io/api/v1/detect_endpoints – this endpoint is used to check which rest api route is available, /wp-json/fastpixel-website-accelerator/v1/update or ?rest_route=/fastpixel-website-accelerator/v1/update. Response from this endpoint return list of available endpoints and first item from this list is saved for future use. This endpoint is used only if default rest api endpoint is not available.

I was genuinely hopeful when I returned to try FastPixel after initially testing it during its beta phase. Back then, I had shifted to LiteSpeed due to missing features but was excited to give it another shot. Unfortunately, the experience this time was equally disappointing, mainly due to a lack of effective support. Initially, I contacted FastPixel support about a CORS error & 404s for FastPixel’s CSS/JS broken files preventing proper font loading on my site. Despite providing all details and screenshots, their response lacked depth and follow-through. They stopped replying after vague suggestions, and the issue remained unresolved. It got worse after week or 2 after enabling FastPixel, my hosting account was suspended due to excessive CPU usage. My host flagged 100+ PHP processes consuming nearly 300MB each. Here’s part of the suspension message: Unfortunately we’ve had to suspend your account due to extremely high resource usage… Process Count: 105 (Killed)” Disabling FastPixel immediately resolved the issue—CPU usage dropped and the site returned to normal. No other plugins or cron jobs were involved. It’s unfortunate, as I really wanted to make this work. But when support is unresponsive and the plugin creates persistent front-end errors with no proper resolution path, it leaves users with no option but to switch to alternativesI’ve refrained from writing a review for a month hoping for resolution, but now feel obligated to share my honest experience so others can make an informed choice.

It took me 2 minutes to install and use. Website load time reduced from 4.57s to 500ms. GT Metrix score jumped from C to A and PageSpeed Insights mobile score from 73 to 99! I also like that the diagnostics tab shows if any plugins are conflicting, making it easy to disable them. I haven’t seen this feature on other performance plugins. I also left the settings in default mode and used the second preset (Balanced). This plugin is super easy to use, fast, and significantly improves server response time, load time, and overall core web vitals. The outcome is improved website rankings, user experience and even conversion. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a speed/performance plugin. It gets the job done hassle-free.
