PB SEO Friendly Images is a free WordPress plugin that helps you to automatically optimize all »alt« and »title« attributes of images in your posts. »alt« and also »title« attributes are important for a website-ranking in search engines. »alt« attributes are also required to get a W3C valid website.

Features of PB SEO Friendly Images

Sync: You can sync existing »alt« to »title« and vice versa

Override: You can override existing »alt« and »title« attributes with a custom scheme

Scheme: Set up a scheme for your »alt« and »title« to flexible define and optimize your content

For all images: The plugin works great with images in posts and post thumbnails as well

WooCommerce support: User WooCommerce product title as image alt / title (pro feature)

SEO Proved: Default settings of the plugins are proved by a SEO consultant

The idea to this plugin based on a similar WordPress plugin “SEO Friendly Images” by Vladimir Prelovac. This plugin version has more settings, possibilities to configure your »alt« / »title« attributes and it’s actively maintained. There is also a sync function, that automatically use existing »alt« as »title« and vice versa if one of the values exist. This is really important, if you have already optimized some of your images.

Plugin Settings

Installation

Upload the full directory to /wp-content/plugins/
Activate the plugin over “Plugins > Installed Plugins” in your WordPress Backend
Go to “Settings” and “SEO Friendly Images” to configure the plugin

For Theme Developer:
Want to add lazy load to images in your theme? You only need to do some small modifications. Add class “lazy” and modify the “src” like this:

This plugin caused me a lot of headache. With this plugin my site loads in more than 20 sec! After deactivation, my site speed backed up to normal (less than 2 seconds to load)

Ask for a donation, make the plugin paid only, whatever you decide. Add a massive advertisement banner for your development services on the wordpress dashboard, of MY CLIENTS? Get over yourself.

what the hell does this plugin do lately? spamming the dashboard with an annoying advertising banner for the authors services. loved it. but this is a complete no-go! wont use it anymore as long as this is the case - and for that reason even wont use the pro version in no way. why adopt every bad manner of american way of obtrusive advertisement ...? extremely bad decision that really makes me upset. EDIT: no banner anymore? allright - very good decision. so you've got your five stars!

The latest update to this plugin loads a full-width banner advertising their company's web development services at the top of every admin page. This banner is completely unrelated to what the plugin is installed for. This is spam. I am going with another plugin that doesn't spam me or my users.
