Open any post or page to find the **PurePen AI** panel and start generating content. ## FAQ ### Do I need an API key? Yes. You need an API key from at least one supported AI provider. Most providers offer free tiers or trial credits. ### Is this plugin free? Yes. The plugin is 100% free and open source (GPL-2.0-or-later). You pay only for API usage to the AI providers you choose. ### Which provider should I start with? We recommend **Anthropic Claude Sonnet** or **OpenAI GPT-4o** for the best quality.** Groq** is the fastest option and offers a generous free tier. ### Does it work with Gutenberg? Yes. Titles and content are applied directly to the Gutenberg block editor and the Classic Editor. ### Where is my API key stored? API keys are stored in your WordPress database in `wp_options`. They are never sent to anyone other than the AI provider you configured. ### Can I use multiple AI providers? Yes. Configure API keys for multiple providers and switch between them in the post editor with one click. ### Can I disable the plugin without losing data? Yes.
