Elite Kit Elementor Addons

Description

Elite Kit is a free add-on for Elementor that gives you 90 ready-to-use widgets, **130 ready-made blocks and pages, a header, footer and theme builder, and 17 extensions, built to stay light.**

Build a whole site with one plugin: team and testimonial sections, pricing tables, timelines, sliders and galleries, forms, post grids, a navigation menu, headers and footers. Every widget can be styled the way you want, and many start from ready-made looks you can pick in one click.

130 ready-made blocks and pages

Open the Elite Templates button in the Elementor editor, pick a design, and insert it into your page with one click. No import and no separate account.

  • 125 blocks and 5 full pages in 22 categories: Hero, Features, Services, Pricing, Testimonials, Team, FAQ, Contact, Call To Action, Stats, Process, Timeline, Gallery, Video, Newsletter, Footer, Ecommerce and more.
  • Preview before you insert. See each template on desktop, tablet and mobile, search by name, or filter by category.
  • They work on any site. Every template is built from Elementor’s own free widgets, so it looks the same whether or not you use Elite Kit’s widgets. Colors, fonts and text are yours to change after inserting.
  • Included in the plugin, and free. The 130 templates come with Elite Kit and work even when your server cannot reach the internet. None of them needs Elite Kit Pro. The library also asks Elite Kit’s own server (plugins.themexplosion.com) whether newer templates are available, when you open it.

Why Elite Kit

  • Light. A page loads only the files of the widgets placed on it. A page with no Elite Kit widget loads nothing from the plugin.
  • Shows you what it costs. The Speed Report in the dashboard shows what each page loads and which widgets are installed but unused. The Page Weight panel in the editor shows what the page you are building loads right now, and you can set a budget for the Elite Kit part.
  • Accessible. An Accessibility Check panel in the editor points out images without a description, low text contrast, heading levels and form fields without a label. The default colors of the widgets that come with ready-made looks are checked against the WCAG AA contrast level, and carousels, tabs, accordions, dialogs and the navigation menu work from the keyboard.
  • The editor matches the page. Popup, Custom Mouse Cursor, Custom CSS and the other extensions update as you change them, with no save and reload. An empty widget shows a short hint with a button that opens the setting it needs. Visitors never see these hints.
  • Set up once. The Integrations tab keeps your Mailchimp API key and audience, Calendly username and X username in one place. A widget with its own value keeps it, and one left empty uses the default. A Test connection button checks what you typed before you save it, and runs only when you click it.

FAQ

Can I use the plugin without Elementor Page Builder?

No. You cannot use without Elementor since it’s an addon for Elementor.

Does it work with any theme?

Of course! It will work with any theme where Elementor works.

Will it slow my site down?

It is built not to. A page loads only the shared core and the stylesheets and scripts of the Elite Kit widgets placed on it. A page without any Elite Kit widget loads nothing from the plugin. Open Elite Kit > Speed Report to see the numbers for your own pages.

Which Elementor version is it tested with?

The current release was tested with Elementor 4.3.3. It requires Elementor 3.34.0 or newer.

Can I see which widgets I am not using?

Yes. The Speed Report lists widgets that are switched on but not placed on any page, and shows which pages use each widget. Widgets shown through a shortcode are not detected. To switch a widget off, use the Widgets tab.

Changelog

1.1.0 – 10/09/2026

  • New: 28 widgets — Dual Button, Creative Button, WhatsApp Button, Animated Link, Gradient Heading, Text Scroll, Flip Box, Number, Fun Factor, Skill Bars, Step Flow, Horizontal Timeline, Review, Post Info, Data Table, Comparison Table, Event Calendar, Image Grid, Image Carousel, Justified Grid, Image Hover Effect, Image Stack Group, Photo Stack, Liquid Hover Image, 360° Rotation, SVG Line Draw, Lord Icon and PDF View
  • Fixed: A site that had saved the Widgets screen never received widgets added in later releases, because they read as switched off. New widgets are now switched on once; ones you switched off stay off
  • New: Integrations tab in the dashboard — set a Mailchimp API key and audience, a Calendly username and an X username once, and every widget left empty falls back to it
  • New: WhatsApp Order, a button on a WooCommerce product that opens a WhatsApp chat with the order already written: name, price, quantity and, on a variable product, the options chosen. It is a plain link; nothing is sent until the customer presses send in WhatsApp
  • Fixed: default colors that were too faint to read (white on the brand pink in the Icon Box and Call Out buttons, the Testimonial quote, the Team job title, the Review stars and a few hover states) are deeper now; every widget’s default look passes AA contrast. Colors you set yourself are untouched
  • New: four widgets that were Pro-only now have a free version: Progress Circle, Breadcrumbs, Advanced Heading and Advanced Divider. Progress bars are the existing Skill Bars widget
  • New: Tooltip and Scroll To extensions, free: a note on any element that the keyboard can reach as well as the mouse, and an element that scrolls the page to a section and moves the keyboard there
  • Changed: Integrations asks for a Mailchimp API key and an optional audience ID instead of a form address; the Mailchimp widget uses them when it has no key or form address of its own
  • New: a Test connection button on each Integrations card checks what you typed (Mailchimp key and audience, Calendly name, X name) before you save it. It only runs when you click it
  • Changed: the Integrations screen shows whether each service is set up, and its cards line up on wide screens
  • New: a translation template (languages/elite-kit.pot) with every string of the plugin, for translators and tools such as Loco Translate
  • Changed: every function, constant and hook of the plugin now starts with elitekit_ / ELITEKIT_; the old names still work for Elite Kit Pro versions released before this
  • Fixed: the Plugin Check code rules (date and file functions, unslashed request values, heredocs); the plugin no longer loads its own translations, WordPress does
  • Fixed: output escaping and translation strings now pass the WordPress Coding Standards (every printed value is escaped or filtered, text domains match, placeholders are numbered and explained for translators)
  • Fixed: the Elementor editor could run out of memory on sites with several large add-ons. Elite Kit’s panel section labels carried a 27 KB picture each (about 1.6 MB of the editor page), and Page Weight measured every plugin’s files on every editor load; the picture is a file now and the measurements are kept
  • Fixed: the Elementor editor did not open on sites with Elementor Pro (a fatal error from the Page Weight panel asking the Code Highlight widget what it loads)
  • Changed: Page Weight counts every widget on the page, Elementor’s own and other plugins’ too, and tells Elite Kit’s part (which the budget is for) from the rest
  • New: Accessibility Check and Page Weight are now extensions: switch either off on the Extensions tab and it is gone from the editor, script and all. Both stay on for sites that already had them
  • New: Page weight in the editor. A button in the corner of the Elementor editor shows what Elite Kit adds to the page being edited, red when it is over the budget; opened, it says what each widget costs and what taking it off would save. It follows the page as you add and remove widgets
  • New: a page budget on the Speed Report tab. Set the most CSS and JavaScript Elite Kit should load on a page (250 KB to begin with); pages that go over are marked, with how far, and can be shown on their own
  • Smaller: the stylesheet every visitor downloads no longer carries the dashboard’s classes, about 21 KB less on every page
  • New: Style Presets. Card, Icon Box, Testimonial, Team, Pricing Table, Call Out, Review, Number and Flip Box have a Style Preset list at the top of their Style tab: Soft, Outline, Bold, Dark, Minimal and Accent. Pure CSS, nothing for the visitor to run, every text and background pair readable (AA). What you set yourself below is applied over the preset
  • Fixed: the Card’s description colour, typography and margin controls did nothing (the text had the wrong class)
  • New: Bengali digits, months, days and times. Number (also lakh and crore grouping, 12,34,567), Countdown, Business Hours, Post Meta and Post Info can each write their numbers and dates in Bengali, whatever language the site is in
  • New: Payment Info (cards for bKash, Nagad, Rocket or any account, with a QR code and a button that copies the number as plain English digits; it only shows information and takes no payment) and Messenger Button (opens a chat with your Facebook page, in the page or pinned to a corner; loads nothing from Facebook until pressed)
  • New: 8 widgets — Accordion (with optional FAQ schema), Tabs, Countdown, Table of Contents, Off-canvas, Read More, Hotspot and Ajax Search (live suggestions as you type, from a public read-only route that only returns published, public content). All of them work from a keyboard and with a screen reader, and keep still for visitors who ask their system for less motion
  • New: Setup Wizard — on a fresh install, pick the kind of site (Business, Blog, Shop, Portfolio or Everything) and Elite Kit switches on the widgets and extensions it uses. Widgets already on a page stay on. Run it again from the dashboard
  • New: Load on Click for Calendly and X Feed — with the switch on, nothing is requested from Calendly or X until the visitor presses the button. It starts off, so existing pages are unchanged
  • New: The template library can now read more than one bundled folder, so Elite Kit Pro’s templates appear alongside the free ones as a single library
  • New: Image Compare takes Before and After as tabs, each with its own image resolution, and the labels can be switched off from Settings
  • New: Call Out takes an image as well as an icon, with style controls of its own
  • Changed: The Twitter Feed widget is now X Feed. Pages that already use it keep working — only what you read has changed
  • Fixed: X Feed showed nothing but a link. X’s own script was never loaded, the timeline address had an extra path on the end that matched no provider, and the width, height and post count never reached the front end
  • Fixed: Calendly showed nothing. Its script was never loaded, the embed looked for an element ID that Elementor does not write, and the fixed time slots assumed every account has all four default events
  • Fixed: Links inside Elite Kit widgets are no longer underlined by the theme — buttons, titles, meta and pagination. Links inside post content, excerpts and comments are left as the theme styles them
  • Fixed: Icon Box dropped the space above its title when the icon sits beside it rather than above
  • Fixed: Theme Builder — a header, footer, single or archive template that had been created but never built could win the match and leave that part of the page blank. Templates with nothing in them are now passed over, so the next matching template renders
  • Fixed: Theme Builder — when two templates matched a page equally well, which one won depended on the order the conditions cache happened to be built in. The most recently created one now wins, every time
  • Fixed: Theme Builder — asking for a location that has no template no longer raises a PHP notice
  • Improved: Bar Chart rebuilt as a grouped chart — one dataset per item, drawn across shared labels
  • Improved: Business Hours rebuilt with its own box, row and highlight styling
  • Improved: Popups work from the keyboard and with screen readers — the Popup extension, Lightbox, Age Gate, Event Calendar details and Video Popup move focus in when they open, keep it there, and put it back when they close
  • Improved: Flip Box has a real toggle button for the keyboard (the card is no longer a button around its links), and the face with focus is the face that shows. 360° Rotation turns with the arrow keys and Page Up/Down, says which frame it is on, and its autoplay has a Pause button. The Lightbox play button works with Space and has a name when it has no words on it
  • New: Accessibility Check in the Elementor editor — a button opens a panel listing images with no alt text, links and buttons with no name, form fields with no label, skipped and empty headings, and text that is hard to read. Show scrolls to the problem and selects its widget. It reads the rendered preview, so it covers your theme too, and nothing is loaded on the site
  • Improved: Post Tab and Content Switcher are real tabs for a keyboard and a screen reader — arrow keys, Home and End move between them. Content Switcher’s toggle is a named switch with a visible focus, and Image Compare’s slider has a name, says how much of the before image is shown, and shows its focus on the handle
  • Improved: News Ticker can be stopped — a Pause/Play button, a stop while focus is inside — and it no longer puts keyboard focus on its hidden second copy of the headlines. With reduced motion asked for it is a still list you can scroll
  • Improved: Image Accordion works from the keyboard — each panel has a button that names it and opens it, in hover mode focus opens a panel as the pointer does, and the enlarge link has a name
  • Improved: Slider, Image Carousel and Logo Carousel can be stopped — a Pause/Play button, a stop while focus is inside, and no autoplay for visitors who ask their system for less motion. The Slider’s arrows and dots are now real buttons with names, and a screen reader is told which slide is showing
  • Fixed: Logo Carousel logos without alt text left their link with no name; they are now named by the logo
  • Improved: Nav Menu works from the keyboard — submenus open when their link has focus, the mobile submenu toggles are real buttons that say whether they are open, a closed mobile menu keeps its links out of the Tab order, and Escape closes it
  • Fixed: Event Calendar’s Prev, Next and Today stopped with a script error when the month they moved to had an event in it
  • Fixed: Lightbox in picture-only layout did not open when the picture was clicked
  • Improved: Every new widget honours a reader’s request for less motion, and states its numbers, ratings and tables so a screen reader can read them
