JyskHub is an AI assistant for small-business websites. You add your services, prices and frequently asked questions in the JyskHub dashboard. The assistant uses that knowledge base as its primary source when answering visitors, around the clock and in the visitor’s language. It can collect contact details that a visitor chooses to share and hand uncertain or sensitive conversations to a human for follow-up.

How it works
- Create a JyskHub account and add your knowledge (services, prices, FAQ).
- Copy your widget token from the JyskHub dashboard.
- Paste the token on the plugin settings page and enable the widget.
External services
This plugin embeds the JyskHub chat widget on your website. When enabled, your site loads the widget script from api.jyskhub.dk (operated by JyskHub, Aarhus, Denmark) on every front-end page. When a visitor uses the chat, their messages, optional contact details they choose to share (name, email, phone), page URL, browser language and technical IP address are sent to JyskHub to generate replies, capture leads for you and show conversation statistics in your dashboard. JyskHub hosts primary service data on European infrastructure where possible and does not use conversations to train AI models. Documented subprocessors may process limited data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards.
This applies only after you enable the widget and enter your token. See the JyskHub Privacy Policy and Terms for details. You are responsible for informing your visitors about the use of this service in your own privacy policy.

FAQ
Do I need an account?
Yes. The widget is powered by the JyskHub platform. You can use the permanent free plan with no credit card required.
Where is my data processed?
Primary service data is hosted on European infrastructure where possible. Managed AI defaults to a European provider; customer-selected providers and documented subprocessors may process limited data in other regions. JyskHub does not use conversations to train AI models.
Can the AI misunderstand a question?
Yes. AI can misunderstand or lack the information needed for a reliable answer. Keep the knowledge base accurate, review unanswered questions, and configure human handover for uncertain, sensitive or complex conversations.
The widget does not appear / I get a 403 error
Your widget token only works on the domains you have allowed in your JyskHub workspace. Add your site’s exact domain (shown on the plugin settings page) to the allowed domains in the JyskHub dashboard.
How does the widget affect page loading?
The plugin adds one asynchronous script tag. The widget is designed to load without blocking the initial page rendering, although every third-party script still adds a small amount of network and browser work.
What about GDPR?
JyskHub is designed with European data protection requirements in mind. Primary service data is hosted in Europe where possible; documented subprocessors may process limited data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards. Remember to mention the chat service in your own privacy policy. If you need a data processing agreement, contact JyskHub.
